MYRTLE BEACH, S.C.  --                                                           November 11th & 12th

This year's NCDGA golf championship was held at "Palmetto" and "The Witch" golf clubs. As always it's a two day event held by NCDGA. There were 8 members participating. The weather was superb and the accommodation was adequate. Everyone seemed to have a grand time. A few of the guys even brought their wives, which made it all the more fun.
On the first day of the tournament at "Palmetto", everyone seemed to be playing their normal game. The next day at the "Witch", things became somewhat much more challenging for some. The sand traps, water holes and the firm fast greens made it more difficult. With the exception of Robert Ritch, he clobbered  the field with a gross score of 77. The next best score was a 90 which was done by last year winner, Robert Schupp. It looked like "The Witch" was out to get the rest of us.
NCDGA wants to thank Chris McMahan for his effort and time for preparing a excellent tournament. We, all are looking forward to next year's tournament.
