October 4th "After I hit my tee shot into the rough on the left, I realized I was going to have
to use my 3 wood to cross the lake" so said Stephen Woodward . This 400 yard par 4 took him for a double bogey. The only one
who was able to par that hole was Robert Ritch. Unfortunately for Robert, he came in second. Stephen Woodward has captured the
honor of winning the first outing of the October events. He has won twice in the last two outings and is prone to win the next
event; shall no one challenge him. Stephen shot a net score of 76. Many of the NCDGA golfers had problems with the back 9, but
no one could blame it on the weather for it was one of the nicest day of the year to play.
